Lochloosa Lake is a large lake (8,900 acres) in Alachua County and is a major waterbody within the Orange Creek Basin. It was added to the MFLs Priority List and Schedule, for adoption in 2018, to meet the statutory requirement to include systems that are of regional importance and likely to be impacted by withdrawals within 20 years.
