District Governing Board maintains slate of officers

PALATKA, Fla., Nov. 13, 2018 ― The St. Johns River Water Management District’s Governing Board will maintain its current slate of officers to serve in the same capacity for another year. Officers are John A. Miklos of Orlando, board chairman; Fred N. Roberts Jr. of Ocala, vice chairman; Charles “Chuck” Drake of Orlando, secretary; and Ron Howse of Cocoa, treasurer.

The other board members are Douglas C. Bournique of Vero Beach, Douglas Burnett of St. Augustine, Susan Dolan of Sanford, Janet Price of Fernandina Beach and Allan Roberts of St. Augustine.

Board members, who meet monthly, are responsible for setting the policies for the district’s operation. They are appointed by the governor to four-year terms and serve without pay.
