District Governing Board to meet through public teleconference in June
PALATKA, Fla., June 3, 2020 — Following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ directions to limit the size of public gatherings and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on June 9 through teleconference. The public may view the board meeting online and offer comment by phone.

WHEN: 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 9, 2020
HOW: To view the June board meeting via streaming broadcast, visit www.sjrwmd.com/june-streaming. The live video feed begins approximately five minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
To offer public comment on a board item, call 386-329‑4500 or toll-free at 800-451‑7106 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. District staff will guide callers through the process to have their comments heard by the Governing Board. Submitted comments become part of the official record of the meeting.
The board also will meet Monday, June 8, at 2 p.m. for a strategic planning and budget workshop. The public may view the meeting online at www.sjrwmd.com/june-streaming and offer comment via phone.
