District Governing Board to meet April 14 through public teleconference
Format offers transparency while promoting social distancing to impede COVID-19 spread
PALATKA, Fla., April 7, 2020 — Following Gov. Ron DeSantis’ directions to reduce public gatherings and practice social distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the St. Johns River Water Management District Governing Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on April 14 through teleconference. The public may view the board meeting online and offer comment by phone.

HOW: To view the April board meeting via streaming broadcast, visit www.sjrwmd.com/april-streaming. The video streaming link becomes active and the live video feed begins approximately five minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
To offer public comment on a board item, call 386-329‑4500 or toll-free at 800-451‑7106. A district staff member will guide callers through the process to have their comments heard by the Governing Board. Submitted comments become part of the official record of the meeting.
Our phone lines will be open to take public comment from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. between today, April 7, and the conclusion of the Governing Board meeting on April 14.
