Lake Apopka-Beauclair Lock opens in time for weekend fishing tournament

Apopka-Beauclair Lock upgrades have been completed.

Bass fishing tournament scheduled to begin on Saturday

PALATKA, Fla., Dec. 14, 2023 — The St. Johns River Water Management District has completed work on the Apopka-Beauclair Lock ahead of schedule. Beginning tomorrow, the lock will operate during regular hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
