PALATKA, Fla., Sept. 23, 2021 — The St. Johns River Water Management District has launched a web-based portal to collect feedback from local community members and stakeholders regarding the Kirkpatrick Dam and Rodman Reservoir, with a focus on interests surrounding the dam’s environmental and economic impact.
The online feedback will help inform future key decisions regarding the best path forward — continued management and operation of the structures or an alternative restoration strategy.
Individuals interested in providing input could access the online comment form and respond to specific questions. The portal and online feedback form remained active through 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22.
