Volunteers to track butterflies on district property
MAITLAND, Fla., March 22, 2016 — Each month, a team of dedicated volunteers visits the St. Johns River Water Management District’s Lake Apopka North Shore to monitor and map butterfly activity. The group tracks each type of butterfly species as well as the number of eggs, larvae and pupae observed.
